Henry Anderson had a nephew, Robert Oliphant Timms, who married Margaret Mickle Lyall (b. 1854), daughter of William Lyall (b. 1821). Mrs. Timms reported in 1937 that her father, William Lyall, had coursed hares from 1858. A dinner was given for William Lyall at Cranbourne Hotel (1861) (Melbourne Argus).
