History of Long Island, pg 166, see source: In the village of Jamaica, on the 15th of November, 1876, was solemnized the marriage of Mr. Titus to Miss Julia J. Jackson, who was born there, receiving her education in the schools of the place and becoming a woman of gracious refinement. Her father, Timothy T. Jackson, was born in Flushing, and was a member of one of the old families of the Island. Mr. and Mrs., Titus are the parents of three children, namely: William W., Louis H. and Ethalinda J.
