Mount Barker, June 29
On Wednesday, the 24th instant the remains of Mrs. T. Paltridge were interred at Blakiston Church. The deceased lady being an old colonist and much respected, all the places of business were closed, and a great number assembled to testify their respect. The Oddfellows headed the procession, which consisted of a train of carriages and other vehicles extending over a third of a mile.
