There was quite a wedding boom in this vicinity recently. Mr. E.W. Myers and Miss Julia Crumrine were married on the 15th. at the Fulton House, by Rev. J.I. Brownson, D.D. Shortly afterwards Mr. Elwood Crumrine, brother of Miss Julia, and Miss Ewina, daughter of John Myers, of Sumner county, Kansas, made their appearance at the house of Mr. Rankin, Lutberan VDM, and were married, aud started on their way to Washington, where, I understand, they arrived just a little too late to see the former couple married. On Thursday, the 22nd of February, the above parties, with a number of invited guests, met at tbe house of Mr. George Crumrine, where a most sumptuous repast was provided for them. Mr. Crumrine’s autobiography will be found recorded iu the late History of Washington county.
