In Albion, Dane Co., Wis., Nov. 26th, 1870, of typhoid fever, Mrs. Julia A. Head, wife of S. C. Head, Esq., and daughter of the late Adin Burdick, aged about 54 years. Sister Head was born in Brookfield, N. Y., where she in early life sought and found Jesus, and witnessed a good profession of her faith in the ordinance of baptism, uniting with the 3d Seventh-day Baptist Church of that town. She having gone west with her family, who were among the pioneer settlers of the town of Albion, was one of the number constituting the Seventh-day Baptist Church of Albion at the time of its organization of which she remained a worthy member until released by death, to take her place in the triumphant division of the family of Jesus. By this providence, her husband has been bereft of a true wife, an invalid son who had been constantly borne upon a mother's heart, and a youthful daughter of an affectionate mother, and a large circle of kindred and friends of a faithful friend. May God sanctify this bereavement to those covered by this tidal wave of sorrow, and give them grace to say, "Thy will, O God, be done." J. C.
