At Hamilton, Madison Co., N. Y., on the 3d of Dec., Mrs. Julia A. B. Brown, wife of William B. Brown, M. D., and daughter of Eld. Eli S. and Marcy Bailey, aged 41 years. The deceased was a member of the 2d Seventh-day Baptist Church of Brookfield where she united in her youth. The nature of her disease was such, that her mind became wandering at intervals during the last few days of her life; yet she left such Christian assurances to her many mourning relatives and friends, as enabled them in their 'sorrow' to 'hope' that she 'sleeps in Jesus.' Her remains were brought back to Clarkville, the place of her former residence for interment, where the funeral services were held, attended by a very large and attentive audience. C. M. L.
