Children of Samuel Appleton and Judith Everard: 2) Judith [first of two daughters with this name], bp. Little Waldingfield 13 Oct 1618, d. young.
[This baptism is also reported in Source:Flagg, Ernest. Genealogical Notes on the Founding of New England, p. 283.]

  2.   Flagg, Ernest. Genealogical Notes on the Founding of New England: My Ancestors Part in that Undertaking. (Hartford, Conn.: Case, Lockwood & Brainard, 1926)

Children of Samuel Appleton and Judith Everard: Judith, bp. 10 Oct 1617, d. July 1659, m. 12 Dec 1657 Samuel Rogers.
[This source only shows one daughter named Judith. The father left Little Waldingfield around 1625 and there is no documentation of births of any children born after this date, so only the one baptism is known. However, given the baptism of Samuel Rogers in Jan 1634/35, this would be nearly a generation difference in age (16 years), and to insist on one Judith would imply that she married at 39 to a 23 years old man. The arrangement shown in Davis with two daughters named Judith makes more sense, the first one dying young.]
