This is Judah’s second marriage; her first marriage was to George Bingham on March 16, 1863 in Grayson County, TX (per familysearch.org); Septimus & Judah are separated by 1900 (see Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, U.S. census records…they are living in separate households); Judah remarries to Harry C. Owens on March 29, 1905 in Carter, OK (per familysearch.org…search for Judy E. Thompson).
↑ Find A Grave, Memorial #53627136 lists her birth date as Feb. 23, 1848. This is quite obviously an approximation rather than actual data. According to the 1850 census, taken in Dec., she was 6 years old. According to the 1860 census, taken in July, she was 15 years old. According to the 1880 and 1900 censuses, taken in June, she was 35 and 55 years old, respectively. Thus, these census records all consistently place her birth date in the later part of 1844.
