    She was born Dec. 13, 1944 in Alger to the late Wootsie and Ethel (Derossett) Whitaker.

    She married Jeff Crumrine May24, 1986 and he survives in Wapak.

    Joyce had been a bus driver for Allen County RTA. She loved gardening and sitting in the sun.

    Additional family members include daughters: Lisa Renee (Raul) Quintana of Biloxi, MS and Stacee Jean Marshall of Biloxi, MS, 6 grandchildren: Derrick (Jessica) Holtzberger, Courtney (JJ) Seymour, Erin (Bobby) Eiland, Victoria (Adam) Ellis, Tyler Quintana and Maggie (Damon) Staup and 10 great grandchildren; siblings: Mike (Bev) Whitaker of St. Mary's, Tony (Deby) Whitaker of Harrod, Roger (Teresa) Whitaker of Belle Center, Luther (Pat) Whitaker of Elida, Rufus Whitaker of Grants Pass, Oregon and Virginia (Gary) Peters of Old Fort, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by 2 great grandchildren and a sister Carolyn Gleason.
