OBITUARY FROM BURLINGTON TIMES-NEWS: Joyce Isley - (Malachi > Philip > Martin > Martin > John Alson > William Ashburn) GRAHAM — Ms. Joyce Isley of 3624 Boy Wood Road died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 1999, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill after several years of failing health, one week critical.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Mr. William Ashburn Isley and Mrs.. Minnie Ivey Isley, both deceased. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.. Tanya Isley Gilley of Graham; two sisters, Mrs.. Louise Arenas and Mrs.. Billie Nicholson, both of Liberty; and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs.. Dorothy Park and Mrs.. Delilah Heath. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church by the Rev Ken Simpson, pastor. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.

The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 7 to 9 this evening and at other times at the home of the daughter, 3624 Boy Wood Road, Graham.
