It appears there were two Josiah Welles from Wethersfield. The second was born 30 April 1722 ("Connecticut, Births and Christenings, 1649-1906). He marries Anna Stillman. This Josiah's parents were John Welles and Mary. A Josiah Welles born about 1743 marries Rebecca Deming.
