- 7 Aug. 1765 - Deed of Gift. Josiah Martin of Sussex Co. gent. and Elizabeth his wife for natural love & affection & 5 schillings, give to James Martin, son of said Josiah Martin of same Co., a tract of land in Lewes & Rehoboth Hund adjoining Allexander Molleston, John Kiphaven, Jacob's pt/o said tract, Coolspring Branch & Coolspring Meeting House.., 260 acres. Wit: William Peery, William Martin. Elizabeth doth say that she of her own free will signed within deed. Attest: David Hall. Ackn. 8 Aug. 1765. (K:pg. 178).
