The both died in San Diego, he says.

The 1925 San Diego directory has the family and the barbershop at 3578 University Ave., in East San Diego.

Marriage to Gilson lasted seven years. DaveÕs mother, Nellie Winona (Gilson) Chandler, was Òraised as a step-daughter from the age of eight.Ó
