Joseph Williard is my great great great grandfather. He was the second Joseph Williard to this family, as the first one died back in Graceham, Frederick County, Maryland, and was buried in the courtyard of the church there. As was the custom of Germans, the next male born was given the name of the deceased child.

Gravesite Details I have repaired the grave site on three occasions. Initially it was kicked over and snapped at the base on two occasions. I ultimately, had to connect the two parts together, then rebuild cement the base and attach the headstone back to it.
