Whipple, Joseph, s. Cornet John, Mar. 6, 1664. CT.R.
[Note: Source:Whipple, Blaine. History and Genealogy of "Elder" John Whipple of Ipswich, Massachusetts, p. G6, says Joseph died at one year of age, so obviously he assumed this date was 6 Mar 1663/64. However, in other places this author clearly calculates the ages at death, so this should be viewed as nothing more than his assumption rather than an independent fact. There is nothing presented that prevents it from being 6 Mar 1664/65, and since nothing is indicated in the vital records, presumably the compiler could not tell from the original record which interpretation was correct.]
