- Page 233.--22d November, 1775. John Kennerley and Mary, of Craven County, Camden District, South Carolina, to James Kennerley. Patented to Wm. Russell, 1st December, 1740. Patented to Joseph Bloodworth, 1st August, 1740. Teste: John Strother, William Kennerley, Joseph Strother. Certificate that the other witnesses that Joseph Strother, the other witness who came with them from South Carolina to prove this deed, died since his arrival. Privy examination of Mary as to above certified by Robert Goodwin, David Hopkins and Richard Brown.
- Vol. 1 - MARCH 19, 1776. - (100) Deed, John Kennerly and Mary to ____, was proved by Joseph Strother, who came with them from Carolina into this Colony in order to prove the same.

Nancy Stewart, and was Capt. in Rev. in a Co. from Culpeper County, Va. in 1779 and moved to Ky. in 1800. His wife is said to be the dau. of Robert Stewart, an officer in Rev.
