Will of father dated 7 Dec 1778 mentions children of son Joseph deceased, namely Samuel, Joseph, Josiah, Abraham and Mary.
↑ The birth records of his children (see Source:Mayflower Descendant, p. 33:87) names his wife as "Mary". Based on his eldest son Samuel's birth 2 Aug 1766, his marriage would be estimated to be about 1765. The Barnstable VRs show a marriage on 26 Jan 1765 of Joseph Smith to Mary Basset. It is not known if this is him?
