... Her father was Major Hugh Moss and her mother was Jane Ford, both born in that vicinity [Goochland county]. Major Moss died in the year 1779. Mrs. Moss then married Captain Joseph R. Farrar, who came to Kentucky in the spring of 1775, settled near Lexington and died 1796. Mrs. F. then married Captain Joseph Rogers of Bryant Station and died in 1814. ...
