Joseph W. Robinson was a stone cutter, having learned the trade in Quincy, Mass., and becoming a master stone workman at Boston in 1850. In 1852 he bought a farm formerly owned by his uncle, Johathan Robinson - Lot 28 in the 2nd division of the original (?) of the town of Meredith, where he lived until his death. He was Tax Collector of Meredith, N.H.
