J. R. Robertson bought the Findley lot in Jackson, May 16, 1857 for $1300, from Geo. Snider. (Madison Co. Deed Bk. 19, page 609) Curiously, J. R. Robertson sold this place, whereon he then lived, February 1857. (Ibid., 19, pages 401, 426) He was in debt, for one thing, but as for the full story, that's for someone else to untangle. A J.
