Born 1712 Joseph married at Saint-Charles-des-Mines on 12 Feb 1735 to Marguerite LE BLANC; seven children listed. Deported to England, some members of this family were at Southampton in 1763; and at Belle-Isle-en-Mer in 1766. !MARRIAGE: "Witnesses at the wedding were Bernard DAIGRE, Rene RICHARD, Pierre RICHARD [was this his father?], Pierre ALAIN, Joseph RICHARD and Jean GOTROT." !RESIDENCES: "The RICHARD family was deported to England in 1755 and by 1767 were located at Sauzon, Belle-Isle-en-Mer, France."
