 OBITUARY Kenora Miner and News Friday May 31 1974
 J. Aime POIRIER
 L. Aime Poirier died Thursday at his Residence, <snip> Kenora. Born in St. Agathe, Man.
 Sept 6, 1893, he was 80 years of age. He married in Kenora to the former Ann Marie Ouellette on 
 Jan. 26, 1922, Whom he leaves to mourn. Also surviving is son <snip>, Kenora; six grandchilden; A
 brother , Kenora: a sister , California. One Son, Raymond, predeceased his 
 father during World War Two.
 Mr. Poirier began services with the Canadian Pacific Railway in Kenora in 1911 and was employed
 as a conductor at the time of his retirement in 1958. He was a member of the Notre Dame Roman 
 Catholic Church, a member of the Order of Railroad Conductors and also the brotherhood of Railroad
 Trainmen.
 The funeral will be held Saturday, June 1 from the Notre Dame Roman Catho;ic Church at 9:30 a.m.
 with Father J. Jolbert officiating. Burial will take place in the Lake of the Woods Cemetery.
 Pallbearers are Rod Lowe. Gordie Lowe. Bob Ponton, Gerry Ouellette, Herb Reishel and Jim Powers.
 Prayers will be said in the Chapel of the Brown Funeral Home tonight at 8 p.m. 
 If friends so desire donations to the Ontario heart Foundation, in lieu of flowers would be
 appreciated.
