Joseph (Joe, JP) Paul Mills died at home August 12, 2003. Born April 29, 1928 to Joseph and Oberia Mills of Ridge, MT, Joe moved to Washington State in 1935. He attended school in Blaine, then moved to Seattle and drove city bus in the 40's and 50's. He came back to Blaine in 1958 and did various jobs until 1971 when he was hired at Intalco Aluminum Corporation in Ferndale, until he retired in 1990.
Joe is survived by his wife Ramona Mills of the family home in Blaine, two sons: David Humbert of Ferndale and Dallas Mills of Blaine, and five daughters: Wendy Brann of Lynden, Paula Ammons of Blaine, Tamara Smith of Lynden, Kimberly Buckley of California and Karla Eames of Bellingham numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Open house and memory sharing will be September 5th, 2:00 pm at the Blaine Senior Center.
