Dr. McKissick came to Arlington, Tx. as a young physician in 1906 and retired two years ago because of his health. He was born in Columbia, Tenn.. and when he was 5 years old his parents settled at Farmersville, Texas. In 1905 he completed his medical education at Baylor University Medical College, Dallas, Texas and practiced a short time in Farmersville before proceeding to Arlington, Texas. He was a member of the Tarrant County Medical Society and the First Baptist Church. 
In December 1946 Dr. and Mrs. McKissick celebrated their golden wedding
He was 76 years old at the time of death. 
Services was conducted at First Baptist Church and burial will be in Parkdale Cemetery. He was at Moore Funeral Home.
