  4.   The Find A Grave memorial cited gives a death date of 6 Aug 1957, but there is no gravestone image to substantiate it. It also gives a short biography that does not mention Marion as a wife. Only some of the details have been substantiated.

The marriage record to Marion says Homer b. 1888 in Canada to Nelson and Melvina Marlow. They have a daughter Mary Catherine, b. 23 May 1911. On line 14 of [1900 census] "Omar" is living in Clarksburg, MA. On line 30 of [1910 census] "Homer" is living in North Adams. For WWI, in 1917, "Joseph Homer" has a wife and one child. On line 16 of 1920 census, "Omar G" is living in North Adams with parents, status married, but no wife shown. On line 15 of 1930 census "Homer J." is listing in North Adams with widowed mother, status single. He has not been found in 1940, but in 1942 for WWII, he is living in North Adams. The draft registration in 1917, the 1930 census and the 1942 draft registration all give the same address: 231 Franklin St.

There are several immigration records of a man named Omar Marleau crossing back and forth to Canada, including this one in 1917 traveling to 231 Franklin St. North Adams (here).

In 1920, Mary Marlow is living with her parents (line 78). It appears they had divorced. She has one daughter. Up through 1930 Joseph/Homer/Omar does not appear to have remarried. Nor was Melvina Langdon (line 70). Neither has been found in the 1940 census.
