Yeoman being aged & weak", dated 12 Feb 1739 ["thirteenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second", so 1739/40], proved 12 Jan 1747[/48], names wife Mary; eldest son Joseph Leeds in hands of two sons Consider Leeds & Hopestill Leeds he "by his ill Husbandry rendered himself incapable of having either the diposal or management thereof", it passing to the two Grandchildren Isaiah Leeds & Josiah Leeds children of my said son Joseph Leeds excluding grandson Joseph Leeds the eldest son of my said [son] Joseph due to "his loose & Dissolute Practices"; second son Consider Leeds; third surviving son Hopestill Leeds; daughter Mary Humfrey. Son Hopestill to be executor.
