    "1065 … Joseph (Kellogg), b. 9 Oct 1736 (Barbour citing VR 1:92); d. unmarried on 8 Oct 1759, at age 22, according to his gravestone in Newington Cemetery (Hale 27). He choose (sic) his brother Martin Kellogg to be his guardian on 3 Dec 1755 (Nutmegger 36:211 citing Hartford Probate District 17:45). It was his brother Martin Kellogg who later qualified as administrator of Joseph's estate on 5 Feb 1760 (Hartford Probate District, Connecticut Estate Files, docket no. 3147)."
