    Dorothy Kellogg of Newington in Wethersfield left a will dated 21 September 1754 and proved 22 October 1754. It names her sons Martin, Stephen, and Joseph, and daughters Dorothy, Anna, Jemimah, Rebeckah, Sarah and Mary. None of her daughters are given surnames in her will. She gives her moveables to her daughters Sarah and Mary and asks them to be kind to their aged grandmother, Dorothy's mother Jemima (Treat) Chester; these two daughters are also appointed executors (Hartford Probate District, Connecticut Estate Files, docket no. 3142). Grandmother Jemima Chester died about a year later on 5 October 1755, at the age of 86, and was buried in Wethersfield (Hale 27)."
