Joseph Jakcsy, 82, was born October 16, 1921, to Michael and Anna Jakc sy in Toledo OH. He graduated from Scott High School in 1939 and attend ed 1 year of college at OH State. He retired from the Army at the ra nk of CWO3 in 1962. He retired from the Postal Service in 1984. He was a L ife Member of the VFW, Post 4051, a championship bowler, an avid golfer, f isherman and bingo player. Joseph married Margaret E Aiken on January 28, 1943. She died sudden ly on October 12, 1969. He is survived by two children, Carol Weed of Colo rado Springs, CO and Dr. Susan Jakcsy-Weisflock of Reedsville, WI; thr ee sisters, Anne Vogtsberger of NC, Esther Nelson of WI and Bertha Ko lb of OH, and four grandchildren, Carolyn Weed, Christine Surdam, bo th of Colorado Springs, CO Try Stonerr of MN and Megan Miller of MT. Arrangements are being handled by Swan-Law Funeral Directors. Services wi ll be announced later.
