Research notes

  • although wife Hannah's two daughters, Deborah and Polly, were born before Hannah and Joseph married, evidence2 suggests that Joseph Hutchison/Hudson was their biological father
  • Joseph started using surname Hudson around 1830, and and was the founder of Hudsonville (later Hudson) in Breckenridge, KY
  • some claim his middle name was Thomas - but proof is needed
  • found in Breckenridge, KY in 1810, 1820, 1830, 1840 census
  • 1810 census - enumerated directly after Charles Hoskinson, and later, two of each of their children marry
