"40 Joseph Hovey³, born in Hadley, Mass., Feb. 28, 1677-8. Upon his marriage, in 1702, he settled in Cambridge, being a cooper by trade. … Mr. Hovey married Mary Marret of Cambridge Dec. 10, 1702; and she was his wife a third of a century. He died in the late summer of 1735, at the age of fifty-seven."
