    Will of "Joseph Hopkins of Charlestown", dated 14 Oct 1731, proved 9 Apr 1739, names wife Elizabeth Hopkins one third, other two thirds "unto my Children". Friends Mr Joseph Austin, cur[r]ier, and Mr Joseph Rand, cordwainer, to be executors.
    9 Apr 1743: Joseph Rand, the surviving executor, hath refused to accept of his Trust, widow Elizabeth Hopkins, along with David Wood, baker, and Joseph Hopkins, hatter, granted administration with will annexed. Bond given 1 May 1739.
    15 Jun 1739: Inventory of Mr Jos. Hopkins late of Charlestown.
