Joseph M. "Hershey" Herroscheck, 71, of Greensburg, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, in Allegheny General Hospital. He was born Dec. 30, 1945, in Latrobe, a devoted son of Eileen "Morty" Herroscheck, of Latrobe, and the late Joseph Francis Herroscheck. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Toni D. Herroscheck; his stepson, Seth Pevarnik (Lori), of Greensburg, stepdaughter, Kristen P. Cannon, of Hershey; grandchildren, Emma Pevarnik, Anna Pevarnik, Caleb Cannon and Kennedy Cannon; sister, Rebecca S. Herroscheck, of Latrobe; sister-in-law, Sister Jacqueline DeBone of Birmingham, Ala.; and brother-in-law, Edward M. DeBone, of Greensburg. Joe will also be missed by his golden retriever, Cooper. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Eric Campbell for his care and compassion and all the doctors and nurses of Allegheny General Hospital. Joe worked as a contract draftsman and retired from American Chain Co., where he was manager. In his spare time, he loved both playing and collecting his favorite guitars. He was also an avid football fan of both the University of Alabama and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
