Will of "Joseph Herrick Sen'r of Beverly ... yeoman Beign sick and week in Body", dated 8 Mar 1724/25, proved 13 Jun 1726, names wife Mary Herrick, son Henry Herrick, son Joshua Herrick, "my said two sons Henry and Joshua Herrick ... to pay unto their mother in Law", daughter Mary Elliott, daughter Lidia Woodberry, daughter Joanna Rayment, "My three Daughters herein before mentioned", "the Reverend Mr Thomas Blowers, First Church in Beverly. Sons Henry and Joshua to be executors.
13 Jun 1726: Quitclaim of "Mary Herrick Relect Widow of Cap't Joseph Herrick Late of Beverly", for £286 to "Henry Herrick Jun'r of s'd Beverly Tanner and Joshua Herrick of s'd Beverly Curyer ... they being Exec'rs to the Last will & Testament of their father the said Cap'tt Joseph Herrick Deceased" of her right of dower except for use of that part of the Dweling house "which my s'd Late Husband gave me", etc.
