Conduct Rites Monday For Joseph L. Fritz Funeral services were conducted on Monday morning at the St. Joseph Church in Klacking Creek for Joseph L. Fritz, 72 year old resident of Klacking township, who passed away last Friday at his home. A resident of this area for the past 61 years, Mr. Fritz had been a farmer and an oil field worker. He was born in Ontario and moved here from Canada. On October 6, 1908 he was united in marriage to the former Ada Reetz who survives. Also surviving are a son, Howard of West Branch, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Johnson of West Branch and Miss Ada Fritz of Northville, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Schaefer and Mrs. Conrad Meir of West Branch, three brothers, Michael of West Branch, Albin of Lupton and Nicholas of Bay City, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Rev. Fr. Edward Trombley, paston of St. Joseph officiated at the services and burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery in West Branch.
