The Fates were farmers, homesteading in Daleview, Montana, Sheridan County in 1910 they also had a small store. 10 children were born to them.They moved to Chewelah, Stevens County, where Joseph died on March 08, 1924, in Chewelah, then Jennie went to live with her daughter in Marcus, Stevens County, Washington, and she died on June 05, 1924.Joseph died of Acute Cardiac Dilatation, secondary Prostitus Retention Jennie died of Broncho Pneumonia.
