Barr, rootsweb)), who married (1) ?, and (2) Eliza Sophia Latour Weakham, daughter of James Latour, 17dec1840 at Shirley, Hampshire (IGI). Joseph had a daughter Mary Odell Elwell (b. 1838, bmd), who married Arthur Frederick Elwell (1844).

Joseph Elwell (1jun1813-1909) married twice; he had children Henry Budd (1837-1880, maybe from 1st wife) and George T. Odell (d. abt 1945, maybe from 2nd wife); Joseph emigrated to Canada after death of 1st wife. Henry Budd Elwell started a school at Sevenoaks, Kent (book "Iron Elwells"). Joseph Elwell, 22, bachelor, married Mary Budd, 30, spinster, 15feb ?1830 at All Saints, Southampton (Hampshire Allegations). Joseph Elwell, aged 22, bachelor, married Mary Budd, aged 30, spinster, 15feb1836, All Saints, Southampton, Hamps. (Bishop’s transcript, ancestry.com). Joseph Elwell married Mary Budd 25feb1836, Southampton (IGI). Joseph had following children: Henry Budd (1837 Arlesford), Mary (1838 Arlesford), George Thomas Odell (1847 New Brunswick), Catharine Odell (1853 N. Brunswick) (S. Barr, rootsweb). Mary Budd was probably mother of the 1st 2 children. Maybe Eliza Sophia was mother only of the last 2 children.
