[Note: the will of first wife Mary Cowell in 1702 identifies herself as relict of Joseph Cowell, and also other documents indicate Joseph's first wife was alive after 1696^S1, so therefore, the 1696 marriage was not Joseph senior, but Joseph junior. Cutter then goes onto to confuse Joseph Cowell Jr. with a different Joseph Cowell instead of recognizing that the 1708 will is Joseph Cowell, Jr.]
