Lease and release [consideration left blank]. 200 acres of woodland, part of a patent granted to Conrade Amberger and Joseph Bloodworth containing 400 acres, 2 Aug. 1736, which said 200 acres is Conrade Amberger's part... at Courtney Normand's line on Buttock Run... south side of the south fork of the Gourd Vine River, corner to said Normand... to Pierce Codie's line... (signed) Conrad Amberger. Wit: John Newport, Thos. Postgate. 22 Nov. 1738. Acknowledged by Conrade Amberger. Barbara his wife relinquished her right of dower.
