BRENTZEL
Joseph G. Brentzel, 71, died at his home, Paintertown, Irwin RD 2, early Tuesday morning. Born Oct. 5, 1893 in Irwin, he was the son of the late Conrad and Cordelia Painter Brentzel. He retired Nov. 15, 1959 as a car inspector for Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of North Irwin. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Jones Brentzel; four sons, Vincent, at home; Joseph and Curtis, both of Paintertown; Kenneth, Manor; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Lynch, Milford, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Russell Plank, Southside, Irwin. Beginning at 7 this evening and daily 2-5 and 7-10 friends will be received at Vincent V. Rodgers Funeral Home, 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin. Services will be held there Thursday afternoon at 1:30 with Rev. D.R. Furniss, Elizabeth, Pa., officiating in the absence of his pastor. Burial will be in Irwin Union Cemetery.
