Mr. Joseph B. Boswell

COCOA, Fla. — Mr. Joseph B. “Joe” Boswell, 91, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999, at his home.

A native of Burlington, he was the husband of Mrs.. Delilah Boswell, who survives. He was a former service station owner. He was a member of the American Legion and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and received five major battle stars. He moved to Brevard County, Fla., in 1958, from Burlington.

Survivors other than his wife of Cocoa include two sisters, Ms. Sarah Shaw of Asheboro and Ms. Sadie Lineberry of Salisbury, Mo.; and a brother, Mr. Richard Boswell of Burlington.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Brevard Memorial Park.

The family will be at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home from 6 to 8 Sunday evening.
