In name of God Amen.

Item: Give and bequeth unto my Son Joseph Benthall fiveshillings

Item: to son Daniel Benthall five shillings

Item: to son William Benthall five shillings

Item: to son Laban Benthall one Negro man named, Tom.

Item: to son Babel(n) Benthall first choice of all horses, feather bed, furniture, six head of cattel six head of sheep, half my hoggs, two chests, all Iron potts & kettles, and my pewter, six chairs, new flax wheel, all plantation utensils, one desk, all my tools of every sort

Item: to my granddaughter Susanna Jenkins five shillings.

Item: to my four daughters Mary Clifton, Clara Turner, TalithaVinson and Rhoda Vinson all the goods and chattels now in their possession.

Item: to my daughter Clara Turner my weaving loom

Item: to my son Babel(n) Benthall, three negros to wit, Venus,Isaac, and Jacob, with their increases.

Item: Is my will and desire my Negro wench Esther be valued byLemuel Parker and Winborne Jenkins in current money of the state, andthe valuation therof shall be paid unto my daughter Clara Turner andmy grandchildren Delila, John, and Drew Vinson to be equallydivided my daughters to have her part as soon as they come of age of twentyone years by my son Baben(l) Benthall.

Item: to my son Baben(l) Benthall one black walnut buffet, onewalnut safe, also one small gun, and sword to him and his heirs of hisbody lawfully begotten of his body for lack of such heirs, my desireis that my grandson Azel Benthall shall have the said property.

Item: My will and desire the remainder of estate be equallydivided between my two sons Laban and Babel(n) Benthall

Item: I give unto Henry Garris the things I lent him
