    [cos1776 note: See error in dates. I am going to make an assumption that this will was written in 1721/22 and it is for Joseph, brother of John Bennet, and not Joseph, son of John Bennet. In 1721/22, Currituck was still a Precinct. Had the will been written in 1751/52, it would more likely have said "Currituck County".]
