    29 Joseph Benjamin (Abigail, William), b. Sept. 15, 1633; d. 1704, at New London (Will at Preston, Conn.). He m. June 10, 1661, at Cambridge, Jemima Lombard (See will of Thomas Lombard; Mayflower Descendants, Vol. XVI, p. 124.). She was dau. of Thomas and Joyce Lombard. He m. (2) Sarah Clarke (See will of William Clarke, 1668). She is supposed to be dau. of William Clarke of Yarmouth.

  4.   LAND:
    - Oct. 30, 1682 Joseph Benjamin of Barnstable, tailor, sold to Walter Hastings of Cambridge 2 1/2 Acres of Marsh in the Neck of Land in Cambridge including all his right in "my honored father's estate Mr. John Benjamin, sometimes of Watertown decd"; the abutter on the west was "my brother Abel Benjamin". [Middlesex Deeds 10:61]
    -June 24, 1703 deeded land to son Joseph; July 27, 1703 deeded land to son John. [Preston, CT Land 1:369-70]
