Movement

When did Joseph move from Albany? A Joseph Bassett living in Butternuts bought land[4] in Butternuts from Daniel Holdridge (living in Burlington) in 1808.

Parentage

There was a Joseph Bassett living in Burlington who sold land (part of his inheritance) to Arnold Wheeler in 1809. That Joseph had received his inheritance from Samuel Bassett, also of Burlington. Is the Samuel Bassett currently connected as Joseph's father really his father? The only source I have is from the Midkiff source[1], and I already found one glaring error in that pedigree (naming the Phidelia Lewis who married John Case in Michigan as the Sarah Phildelia Lewis who is the daughter of George W. and Sally (Bassett) Lewis).
