From the research of Charles Schretzmann found at: http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/s/c/h/Charles-F-Schretzmann/GENE1-0011.html

Baptism entry - Born about 3AM; Godfather was Melchior Eisenhauer. Entry seems to indicate that his parents separated about two months before his birth ("relicta" - deserted).

Marriage was witnessed by Kaspar Steffan and Michael Schell. There is a "schema consanguinitatis" at the end of FHC film #1048299. It shows that Josef Anton and his wife, Agnes, were three generations removed from a common great, great grandfather named Valtin Muller. Anton's grandfather, Johann Adam married Eva Muller, granddaughter of Valtin Muller. Agnes' grandmother was Eva Zipf, also a granddaughter of Valtin.

Faber horologii - clockmaker, per his son Karl Alois's birth entry. Buried on Dec 23 1838 (#56 for 1838, p386).

Family information is found on page 858 (#2) of the Familienbuch II.
