  2. The birthdate posted here, 18 Dec 1673, is probably wrong, but no source is posted to tell where it comes from. Jonathan is mentioned between Israel and Thomas in an agreement of his father's heirs which appears to be by age [Bristol probate 29365]. He and Thomas both signed a quitclaim in 1689 suggesting they were both born by 1668 at the latest. One book suggests about 1658. Source:Bresson, Verle. Bresson Family History, p. 140 says he sold land in 1672 (also mentioned in GMB, 1:188, "apparently unrecorded"), which even suggests a birth by 1651.
