On 8 Feb. 1711, being of Glastonbury, he conveyed for love to his son Richard Smith of Glastonbury, a third of his undivided lands In Middletown; other lands there to his son Jonathan Smith of Middletown, deed acknowledged 24 Apr. 1711; and several pieces of land in Middletown, 1 Apr. 1711, to his son Francis Smith of Middletown, on one of which Francis had lately erected a house."
