In Hartsville, N. Y., July 5th, 1876, Jonathan Pettibone, Sr., in his 80th year. Nearly fifty years since, he settled upon the farm upon which he died. His industry and economy gave him more than an ordinary farmer's share of this world's goods. His uprightness, fair dealing, and Christian integrity won for him the respect of all who knew him.
