Vol. 15, p. 140 15 Mar 1800: Daniel Shephardson of Royalston Yeoman for $230 conveys to Jonathan Morton of Ervingrant Yeoman 66 acres in Warwick Lot# 30 except 2 acres sold to John and Joseph Haskell.
Vol. 15, p. 482 27 Jan 1802: Jonathan Morton of Warwick Yeoman for $112 conveys to John Prentiss of Wendell Gentleman Lot #30 in Warwick excepting two acres sold to John & Joseph Haskcall

  2. Jonathan Morton has not been identified. He does not appear to be Jonathan Morton of Hatfield whose will in 1836 named no wife or children, though it is possible he divorced? He has not been found in census records. Allred, p. 197, presumes it was the same man who married both Jean/Jane Holt and Esther Burnett, which appears correct from the cited deeds which tie together the locations given in the marriage records.
